In this lecture, the speaker discusses the eternal values that the vedas provide and how they are applicable to every day life in these modern times.

Passion for universal welfare is the basis of all human values. Vedic Samhita contains the praises of various Goddesses and Gods. They all are the archetypes and symbols of various esoteric principles and cognitive forces connected to the universal welfare. In exoteric sense they are the symbolic representations of various natural elements seen around. But their esoteric spirit is less explored by the researchers. This talk shall throw some light on their esoteric spirit from which humans can derive deeper values for the world peace. Being virtuous is different from becoming virtuous. This discourse is to show how the Veda can guide to be virtuous.
