Once upon a time, there was a silly cow named Bessie who loved to drink milk. Now, Bessie was a dairy cow and she produced a lot of milk every day. But one day, Bessie got the bright idea to drink her own milk!

At first, Bessie thought it was the most delicious thing she had ever tasted. She slurped and gulped until she was so full, she couldn't move. But then, things started to go a bit haywire.

Bessie's stomach began to churn and gurgle, and she felt a bit queasy. She stumbled around the field, trying to keep her balance, but she just couldn't shake the feeling that something was very wrong.

Finally, Bessie let out a giant burp, and a stream of milk shot out of her mouth! She was so surprised that she stumbled and fell over, and all of the milk she had drunk came pouring out of her udders.

Feeling embarrassed and a bit silly, Bessie got up and looked around to make sure no one had seen her. But then she saw the other cows staring at her in shock and horror.

"What on earth are you doing, Bessie?" asked one of the cows.

"I was just trying to try something new," Bessie replied, feeling a bit sheepish.

"Well, maybe next time stick to the grass," said another cow with a smirk.

Bessie hung her head in shame, realizing that sometimes it's better to just stick to what you know. From that day forward, she never touched her own milk again, and she made sure to stick to eating grass and making milk for others to enjoy.

The other cows eventually forgot about Bessie's little mishap, and things went back to normal on the farm. Bessie learned her lesson and was content to just be a regular dairy cow, producing delicious milk for the farmer and his family.

Over time, Bessie became known as one of the best milk producers on the farm, and the farmer even entered her in a dairy competition. Bessie was nervous at first, but she ended up winning first prize for the creamiest, richest milk in the whole county.

Bessie was overjoyed and felt proud of herself for sticking to what she knew best. She realized that sometimes the simplest things in life can bring the most joy and satisfaction.

And so, Bessie spent the rest of her days happily grazing in the fields, producing milk for others to enjoy, and occasionally being entered into dairy competitions. She never forgot her little mishap with her own milk, but she learned that sometimes it's better to just stick to what you know and do it well.
