ENSURING THE PEACE PROCESS: Uganda deploys 1,000 troops to Eastern DRC to keep peace

President Museveni has explained circumstances under which Uganda on Wednesday deployed troops under the East African Regional Force to Eastern DRC.

A contingent of one thousand troops departed Uganda heading to the eastern part of the DRC.
