Why do we want to go back?

How many times have we decided to go back to a predictable, comfortable and familiar experience inspired by the fear of not wanting to try something new which would encourage growth, change and evolution? This limitation of only choosing what we know and are comfortable with tremendously stagnates and can further retard our growth in many areas of our life. It is wise to periodically reflect upon whether we are choosing to have the courage to step into new experiences that promote our growth, or if we are re-materializing the past.
