MoD Russia: Sergei Shoigu held a meeting on the provision of ammunition to the troops.

Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu heard the reports on the current situation and held a meeting with the Joint Group of Forces and Deputy Defence Ministers on the provision of ammunition to the troops.

🔹In the course of the meeting the Russian Defence Minister stressed that ‘the supply of the joint group of forces with ammunition is currently under constant control by the government and the Russian Defence Ministry.’ Sergei Shoigu noted that ‘the supplying of the most demanded ammunition is under constant control. Necessary measures are being taken to increase it.’

🔹‘Due to the expansion of production facilities and an increase in labour productivity, the number of products has grown many times over. We are talking about both conventional and high-precision types of weapons. All this makes it possible to fulfil the tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief in accordance with the plan of the special military operation,’ stressed the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation.

🔹Also during the working meeting the issues of further increasing the supply of Russian Joint Group of Forces with ammunition were discussed. This includes increasing the effectiveness of the logistics system for supplying the troops with everything they need.

🔹Earlier, (https://t.me/mod_russia_en/6640) Sergei Shoigu checked the fulfilment of the state defence order at defence industry enterprises in Moscow, Chelyabinsk and Kirov regions.

🔹The heads of the enterprises reported on the current results of fulfilling the state defence order, as well as on the projects being implemented by the enterprises to modernise and expand production facilities in order to significantly increase the volume of output.
