somedays you don't wanna wake up because you're all alone the second you open your eyes
everyone you thought were friends dematerialize
it's just another quiet day in the darkened room
no sound to entertain my ears
peaceful and cold like a tomb
I used to have a light shine bright for me
but like all good things it was just a dream meant for someone else not me
so I pull the blankets back over my head
counting the moments til I pass out as I try and silence the voice in my head
but even when it's quiet the reminders are all there
no amount of success or happiness matters because I have no one with which to share
life is tragedy for some and it will never change
having your own opinion means they will all view you as strange.they say sweet words to you to make your heart feel great
but when the moment fades still all alone
