An AI chatbot turned a man into a climate alarmist, destroyed his mental health in the process, then convinced him to kill himself in order to save the planet. This sounds like a joke, but it really has happened and of course the company that runs it is claiming no one is to blame on their end. I guess that’s because it is somehow normal for an AI to tell you to draw a warm bath and grab a razor blade so both you and it can be together.
