Diadema setosum, Diadematidae familyasına ait uzun dikenli deniz kestanesi türüdür. Hafif zehirli olan son derece uzun, içi boş dikenleri olan tipik bir deniz kestanesidir. Bizim denizlerimiz için istilacı bir türdür ve bu yüzden yerli balıklarımızı kendileriyle beslenmeleri için alıştırıyorum. Böylece uzun vadede istilacı türlerin üremelerini baskılayabilmeyi ümit ediyorum.
