Many are calling this The Patriot Act 2.0.

After a week of Trans School Shooters, Trump Indictments, Banking Issues, and Tornados, this hasn't gotten the attention it needs. Long, but worth listening to.

I like both Rand and Josh very well, but I largely agree with Rand on this issue. I don't want Joe Biden or any President having this type of power. I do think Josh is concentrating on TikTok alone and not getting the larger picture. Precedent this would set. This was the problem with the "Patriot Act" which was written by Joe Biden.

All Social Media in the United States has foreign investors. All social media in the United States spies on, and shares their users' data without the users' permission. Many Americans are called/deemed terrorists without their knowledge.

A larger problem that's never addressed is that Corporations, under American law, have all the rights that a physical person who is a United States Citizen has.

Corporations are allowed to make campaign contributions as any physical person with American Citizenship is allowed to. A non citizen or a dual citizen can use holdings in an American corporations to influence American politics as much as any physical American Citizen can.

If TikTok is eliminated, then this problem with foreign espionage will continue under another name until many other problems are addressed.
