You'd think they could stick around, considering their massive presence in the US with almost 5,000 stores, but this one just couldn't cut the mustard. Financial expectations? More like a financial nosedive.

The Walmart communications director for the Western United States let us in on the secret, though. Just a little tidbit about how some stores don't meet their "financial expectations." Well, I guess not every store can be a shining star in the Walmart universe, huh? Strong underlying business, they say. But when it comes down to it, it looks like the Downtown Honolulu store couldn't keep up with the big leagues.
