If you are going to become everything God wants you to be, you must take captive the thoughts that are playing in your mind and ruling your heart. God has given you His Word and the power to think His thoughts and to create your life around those thoughts. That is the key. You cannot control what anyone else does, says, or thinks. And you cannot control everything that happens to you, but you can control what you think. You can control the filters you use by allowing God to use the power of His Word to renew your mind, transform your thinking, and guard your heart.

The Scripture says in Isaiah 61 : 3, “..Put on a garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness...” A garment is like a coat, before you can put on a coat of praise, you have to take off a coat of heaviness. Sometimes you wonder why you don’t have any joy or why you are not passionate. It is because you are wearing the wrong coat. That coat of discouragement does not look good on you, that coat of self-pity is out of style, that coat of bitterness—who left you, what you did not get—does not fit you anymore.

It is restricting you; you have come into a new season. Now, do your part, take off that old coat of heaviness, take off that coat of offense, and put on a coat of praise. God is making a way in your wilderness. In this new season may you experience an intimacy with God like never before. I declare that it is your time for a brand new beginning. It will spring forth. God is doing something NEW for you, in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour . Have a praising Day in CHRIST JESUS NAME . AMEN 🙏
