‘Persecution not prosecution’: Lara Trump breaks silence on fathers-in-law’s indictment

Lara Trump has spoken out about her father-in-law’s indictment over charges involving hush-money payments made during the 2016 presidential campaign.
“It’s a really sad day,” Ms Trump told Erin Molan.
“This is not about a prosecution but of course all about a persecution.
“And I think we have seen this happen to Donald Trump many times; nothing as blatantly obvious and politically motivated though as this one.”
