Unlocked Tunnel Doors Gave Quick Access to Protesters, Sparked Rioting

When police retreated back into the U.S. Capitol after 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2021, they did not lock the two sets of double doors, making it easy for protesters to briefly enter the building before they were pushed back.
