Ghanaian Parliament Speaker Alban Bagbin explains democracy to Kamala Harris in response to her criticism of Ghana's anti-LGBTQ law:

"They will ask questions, as the vice president did yesterday. My point of view is that such things should not be allowed. This is undemocratic. What is democracy? Someone has to dictate to me what is good and what is bad? Is that unheard of? , because we have chosen to debase ourselves and engage in begging? Come on, we have more than enough. God has created more than enough for every human being. The bill will pass."
