What Happened to the Catholic Church?

There is a crisis in the church..

People are leaving the Catholic faith.

In droves.

Statistically, the Church is growing, but those numbers only count baptisms and confirmations. They don't count the people who have been baptized and confirmed, and  then leave the church.

 But if we look at mass attendance, vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and the number of people who consider themselves to be ex-Catholic, we see a different picture. We see a church that's dying 

Now, on one hand we don't have to worry about this. 

Christ promised the gates of hell will not prevail against his church.

And that church is the Catholic church.
