Is the IRS being weaponized against reporters?

House Republicans are investigating the weaponization of government entities such as the FBI and IRS. This includes finding evidence that the Internal Revenue Service may be targeting journalist Matt Taibbi, who testified before the house committee.

Chairman Jim Jordan sent a letter to the IRS Commissioner and Treasury Secretary seeking an explanation for why Taibbi received an unannounced home visit from an IRS agent.

Taibbi told Jordan's committee that an IRS agent showed up at his personal residence on March 9, which happens to be the same day Taibbi testified before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government about what he learned about Twitter.
