It looks like Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York) will attend the Oscars. Because she is close to the Presleys and Baz Luhrmann has a crack-out Elvis movie that will be up for many awards. Due to her close connections with Elvis Presley's families, the Duchess of York will be handing out a gong at Sunday's Oscars ceremony. Sarah Ferguson (63), is expected to attend the LA ceremony. The Elvis biopic will be up for eight awards. According to a source, "There have been discussions about the Duchess attending. It now looks like that will happen -- she is expected to present an award. She is a close friend of Elvis' family, particularly Lisa Marie Presley, and even spoke at Elvis' funeral. After some discussion, it seems like she will be attending. As she seeks to make a new start, the royal has been spending much of her time in America of late with Prince Andrew, her estranged husband. According to the source, "It's big deal to have them there, but it is also a big deal" After the recent problems in the UK, America appears likely to play an important role in her future. After reconciling their bitter split, Fergie and Andrew still remain close to each other and live at Royal Lodge, Windsor. Lord knows where she will end up if Andrew moves to a smaller residence on the Windsor estate. It's possible that her daughters helped her to purchase the Mayfair home. Maybe Fergie now has her own place in London. We may never know. However, I doubt Fergie will return to America. Concerning Oscar presentation stuff, I think Oscar producers would be more interested in Harry and Meghan presenting. It would be strange to ask Fergie (of course !!!)) to present.
