NIKON Paradigm Shift Has Begun! How May It Impact The Brand

Today we discuss a possible paradigm shift as Nikon pulls further away from Sony.

It appears from various reports that Nikon is developing and innovating on their own camera sensors, rather than “personalizing” existing Sony OEM sensor offerings.

This paradigm shift could place Nikon in the driver's seat if the Nikon Z9 flagship integrates its own innovative sensor design and proves to be a superior professional full-frame mirrorless camera when released.

It's also reported that Nikon USA will discontinue their pension plan offering a buyout for those getting close to retirement.

Yesterday, Nikon released numerous firmware updates for their entire Z series lineup. Please share your experience with the new firmware!
