Sony puts a fork in A-Mount and Sony DSLR Cameras are officially done!

We look at the past Sony a68, Sony a77 II, and Sony a99 II while discussing the last DSLR camera that will ever be made by Sony.

Sony will rely on the Sony LA-EA5 A-Mount to E-mount adapter to act as a bridge between their DSLR and Mirrorless systems.

The LA-EA5 was said to deliver full support for phase-detection AF and real-time Eye AF which is seen on today's Alpha mirrorless cameras.

We will see if this bridge is enough to get the current Sony DSLR shoots to cough up the additional funds to migrate to the mirrorless platform.

Does Nikon follow suit?
Does Canon follow suit?
What happens to Pentax and others that are holding onto to the DSLR dream?
Will Sony influence the entire industry to stop the production of DSLR cameras entirely?
