At a recent California state meeting on reparations, an unidentified black citizen made impassioned requests for more substantial support for foundational Black American communities. The citizen proposed that the suggested amount of 5 million dollars for reparations was inadequate given the significant contributions made by black Americans to the country's foundation. Instead, they proposed a figure of 7.6 million dollars for allocation to these communities.

In addition to monetary compensation, the speaker called for a recognition of the companies that participated in the slave trade, so foundational Black Americans could start their own businesses. They also emphasized the importance of preserving mother languages, including Swahili, Yoruba, Igbo, Zulu, and Hausa, as part of their heritage.

The citizen also demanded that community colleges and universities freeze their tuition prices to ensure that future generations of foundational Black American families have access to higher education. Finally, they urged the government to allow Black Americans to change their names to their motherland names without any charges and to have access to land at no cost, given that it was supposed to belong to them originally..
