Sometimes, just because we can, doesn't mean we should! But, when it comes to dendrobium canes that are declining at the base, but are viable along the major part of the cane, it is possible that the orchid will activate nodes along the canes and grow keikis. This is the case with my dendrobium polyanthum. I am having some issues at the base of the orchid, some canes are desiccating at the base while the rest of the cane is in good shape, so if you have a similar situation with your dendrobiums, not just dendrobium nobile, then how to propagate dendrobium canes to grow keikis, is right in this video! #orchids #orchideen #beginners #orchidcare #orquideas #propagation
