Two x Recap: The Mando S3 - E5 & Bad Batch and S2 - E15 & 16 LSR 156
On today's episode, Two x Recap: The Mando S3 E5 & Bad Batch S2 E15 & 16. The LSR Crew has an In-depth and fun discussion about The Mandalorian season 3, The Pirate. Gorian Shard invades Nevarro. Djarin convinces the covert to come to Karga's aid despite their prior confrontations with him, and Bo-Katan assumes command of the attack force. As the Mandalorians overcome the pirates, Vane flees and Shard is killed. The Mandalorians are welcomed back by Karga and the people, and the covert moves back to its old secret enclave. The Armorer meets with Bo-Katan, acknowledging the Mythosaur's reappearance as an omen that Bo-Katan is the one who can reunite all Mandalorians. On his way back to Adelphi, Teva encounters the wreckage of Moff Gideon's prison transport which had gone missing during transit. He also finds a fragment of beskar alloy, suggesting that Mandalorians must have broken Gideon out. Djarin introduces Grogu to Mandalorian combat training. Grogu wins a training match, but his opponent Ragnar Vizsla is captured by a large Shriek-hawk. Bo-Katan gathers a hunting party, which includes Djarin and Ragnar's father Paz Vizsla and leads them to the Shriek-hawk's nest. The Armorer forges a new piece of Mandalorian armor for Grogu, a rondel bearing Djarin's mudhorn sigil. As she works, Grogu has visions of his rescue from the burning Jedi Temple by Jedi Master Kelleran Beq and sympathetic members of the Naboo Armed Forces. Vizsla's over-eagerness to save Ragnar disrupts Bo-Katan's plan and leads to a difficult aerial rescue in which Bo-Katan and Djarin rescue the boy unharmed, killing the Shriek-hawk by causing it to fall into range of a Dinosaur Turtle, collecting its chicks to be raised, and earning the clan's respect. As the Armorer replaces Bo-Katan's Pauldron, lost in the scuffle with the pterosaur, Bo-Katan reveals her encounter with the Mythosaur, but the Armorer meets her account with indifferent disbelief. Then we have the Bad Batch Season 2, Episode 15, The Summit and Plan 99. First in episode The Summit, In order to find out more about the Science Divison's activities, the Bad Batch trails Dr. Hemlock to an imminent summit hosted by Tarkin on Eriadu. The gathering concerns establishing a network of total control over the galaxy, in which the ASD's secret research in the Kaminoans' cloning technology is supposed to play a critical role. As they sneak into the base where the summit is held, the Bad Batch discovers that Saw Gerrera has also infiltrated the compound to assassinate the assembled Imperial top-level officers. The intruders are discovered and the alarm is raised, but Gerrera sets off explosives which disrupt the base's railcar that the Bad Batch must use to escape, leaving them stranded. Then we have Plan 99, With their railcar imperiled by Imperial attack, Tech sacrifices his life to enable his team's escape. Retreating to Ord Mantell to treat their injuries and come to terms with their loss, the Bad Batch is betrayed by Cid to Hemlock, who captures Hunter and Wrecker, forcing Omega to come out into the open. Echo and AZI rescue their comrades, but Omega is captured and brought to Mt. Tantiss, where she meets Nala Se and Crosshair again. In addition, Emerie Karr reveals herself to Omega as another clone and her genetic sister.
