NDP MP Heather McPherson outlines her bill for national ADHD strategy – March 30, 2023

NDP MP Heather McPherson speaks with reporters on Parliament Hill to present her private member's bill that calls on the federal government to create a national strategy to provide treatment and support for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She is joined by her 15 year-old-son Mac, who has ADHD and discusses the need for this initiative. Juanita Beaudry (executive director of the Centre for ADHD Awareness Canada) and Dr. Joan Flood ( family physician with a specialty in ADHD, learning disabilities, and autism) also take part in the news conference.
