CDC: ADHD prescriptions surged during the pandemic, increased most for young women

A Center for Disease Control and Prevention study found prescriptions for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder rose by more than 10% across all age groups during the pandemic. The largest annual increase in prescriptions was for young women in their 20s and 30s. The Food and Drug Administration lists Adderall shortages for eight manufacturers on their website.
