Team POI asked me to review these Devil Dog Arms 1911s and give my opinion on what I thought of them. I was happy to oblige because they seemed like pretty rad handguns. I put a few hundred rounds of various types (Freedom Munitions, Winchester Whitebox, Sellier & Bellot) of 45 ACP through them and didn't run into any problems. I didn't experience any malfunctions that I can recall except I believe one time the black one didn't lock back on last round but sometimes my support-hand thumb finds its way onto slide stops. Since I didn't experience this issue consistently I assume it was me riding the slide stop. Overall I really enjoyed shooting these Devil Dog Arms 1911's and would recommend considering them for anyone looking at 1911's in this price range.
