This is my review of the Deadfall by Sintercore. Overall it's probably not needed in dry conditions but it could be a really beneficial accessory if you ever needed to rack the slide in wet conditions such as sweaty hands, rain, or even blood.

I found that the Deadfall added a little extra width to the slide which provided a shelf for my fingers to kind of run into and grip onto when manipulating the slide with a wet hand. I wish the M&P Shield version hadn't gotten cancelled because I would like to have this on my Shield which is my EDC.

Neal, the owner of Sintercore, seems like a stand-up guy who was quick to respond to emails and let those of us that pre-ordered the Deadfall M&P Shield version know that it would not be getting produced and offered us a full refund AND special coupon for cancelling on us. I still wanted to review the Deadfall so I asked him to transfer my order to the Glock version instead.
