Sorry for the video changing colors. My GoPro has been acting up. New camera is on its way.

UPDATE: April 2019 I noticed the lights were getting dim (but still turned on) so I changed them out finally. That puts them at approximately 1 year 7 months of use, depending on brand of batteries and how often it gets activated. I was using Kirkland brand AA's so Duracell and other high end brands may last longer!

My favorite flashlights are Olight. I have half a dozen of their flashlights which I have all paid my own money for and I haven't had an issue with them. They work great and are a price for the quality. Check them out below and you should get $10 off your first order when you sign up!

In this video I give you a tutorial on how I made a battery operated gun safe light kit for under $40 on Amazon.

I saw light kits at Cabela's for over $100 and thought no way am I paying that much so I made my own. All of the parts I used are plug n play and don't require any kind of soldering or anything.

Check it out and let me know what you think. I think it turned out great!
