In today's VLOG, we discuss Nikon's FY2022 financial numbers and have an inside discussion based on a recent email from a patron of the channel.

Has the Nikon D850 been discontinued?
Has yet another Nikon DX lens been discontinued?

According to Nikon: "The increase in revenue is due in part to the weaker yen". Nikon also notes that their "Q1 FY2022 operating profit was significantly higher due to deferred partial expenses to Q2 and beyond".

- Is Nikon finally out of the wood and moving to profitability by getting out of the consumer market moving to Professional and Pro-Am products?

- Is Nikon soon to discontinue the D850 (arguably the best full-frame DSLR ever made)?

- Will Nikon release a replacement to the D850 or discontinue it altogether, in hopes of moving customers to their Z series like the anticipated Z9?
