Why Nikon Has Fallen Off Radar? Rankings Conspiracy Revealed

Why has Nikon been nowhere to be seen in Japan's BCN Rankings which provides a small glimpse of the direction the camera market is heading.

Nikon has hit an all-time low in camera sales.

For many months I’ve posed the question “Why Is Nikon nowhere to be found on the BCN Ranking“. Today I provide my thoughts as well as Nikon Rumor's plausible explanations. Conspiracy Theory? I'll let you be the judge!

For everyone new here, the BCN Rankings is a report based on a collection of real sales data from approximately 40% of the Japanese retailers. While this is not a worldwide sampling it does provide a bit of direction just the same.

Sony: 33.3%
Canon: 27.7%
OMD: 14.6%
Fujifilm: 10.3%
Nikon: 7.0% ---- No! That's not a mistake.
