German politician Sahra Wagenknecht on Ukraine: "Diplomacy instead of weapons"

On February 25, 2023, German politician and economist Sahra Wagenknecht and journalist Alice Schwarzer organized a demonstration in Berlin advocating diplomacy instead of weapons to end the war in Ukraine. About 50,000 people took part in the demonstration. We translated this video into English as this demonstration did not receive adequate coverage in the international media landscape. This video was dubbed by the independent journalist Abby Martin.

Sahra Wagenknecht is a German politician, economist, author and publicist. She has been a member of the Bundestag for Die Linke (The Left) since 2009. From 2015 to 2019, she was deputy leader of her party's parliamentary group.
