Well, this is a strange one.

What you have here is a rather upmarket posh looking pen that is made up of a series of magnetic rings and shapes. The pen can be disassembled and the components used together with the others in the set to make a range of different shapes and objects.

The set comes in an attractive box containing: 5 Gel Ink Refills, 2 Touch Screen Caps, 2 Gel Pen Caps, 3 Large Magnet Balls, 9 Mid Sized Magnet Balls, 18 Small Magnet Balls, a pen clip and 13 Magnet Tubes. They all feel well made and very robust and should last forever. The box is clearly designed for long term storage as it is again well made with shaped inserts for all the components in the set.

In addition to the gel pen tips, the pen can also work as a touchscreen stylus and two foam heads are provided for this purpose.

The magnets are very powerful for their size and have no difficulty supporting even the large metal balls included in the set. If you bring two same sized magnets close together they will jump at least an inch to form the contact.

You can make models with them or just enjoy playing with the powerful magnets, and then try to remember how to reassemble them into a pen. It is quite calming and therapeutic to idly play with the magnets and quite engrossing to build the little figures and models

Nicely packaged, well presented and not too expensive at £19.99 this would make a nice gift for anyone that likes to keep their hands busy.
