Part II: Starting from from 1983, the repeated assassinations of police officers, magistrates and political representatives ordered by Riina ended up causing a reaction by the State. Determined to put an end to the impunity of the Mafia, judge Giovanni Falcone has Tommaso Buscetta extradited, a "defeated" man whom Riina had several relatives massacred (including 2 sons from his first marriage, his brother, nephew and son in law,) and convinces him to speak.
