One of the most commonly misunderstood dog breeds, American Bullies are sweet, loving dogs who want nothing but to spend time with their family. While they definitely look intimidating with their massive head, broad shoulder, and stocky body, these dogs are actually softies inside. And like other dog breeds, there are certain things that you should not do to your American Bully to ensure that they grow to be well-mannered dogs.

A relatively new breed, American Bully was created in the mid-1990s by using a foundation of American Pitbull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and some other bulldog-type breeds. Despite their intimidating appearance, these dogs were created for the purpose of establishing the ultimate family companion. As a matter of fact, aggressiveness was purposely bred out of these dogs.
