Sony Strikes Back! New Sensor Granting 2X Better Low-Light

Sony has announced that it successfully developed the world’s first stacked CMOS image sensor technology which separates the Pixel Transistors and Photodiodes.

This amazing new technology is said to double the light gathering capability of the CMOS sensor.

This could very well be a turning point in digital photo and video capture.
