April Fools! Taxes are Going Up and Politicians are Getting Pay Raises!!

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has pushed back plans to balance the budget and is projecting deficits until the year 2028. But the government is giving out checks so you'll forget about how unaffordable life in Canada is becoming.
The alcohol escalator tax automatically increases federal excise taxes on beer, wine and spirits every year by the rate of inflation. Alcohol taxes will increase by 6.3 per cent on April 1.
