Este grupo de hermanas dominicanas (Carmen Amelia, Haydee, Gladys Elisa y años después Virginia) se destacaron desde 1949 en diversos escenarios de Nueva York, con apariciones en la televisión y hasta en el cine mexicano (en la película "El Vividor" con Germán Valdés "Tin Tan"). Aquí se presentan en "The Ed Sullivan Show" de la CBS, el 9 de junio de 1957, intepretando "El Cumbanchero" y "Babalú Ayé".
