She Accused A Qatari Prince Of A Disgusting Crime, Days Later She Was Dead

Kasia Gallanio, the ex-wife of a Qatari prince, was found dead in her Marbella home. The 45-year-old former princess had accused her ex-husband, Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani, of molesting one of their three children during a custody battle. Kasia was found lifeless in her bed, having reportedly overdosed on drugs, amid an intense custody dispute with her Qatari ex-husband, Al Thani, a billionaire and uncle of the current Emir of Qatar. Kasia's youngest daughter alerted the Spanish authorities, as she had been unsuccessfully attempting to contact her mother from Paris for several days.

While Spanish police found no evidence of physical assault or violence on Kasia's body, she remained steadfast in her accusations of her ex-husband's actions. Kasia, who was born and raised in Los Angeles to Polish parents, married Abdelaziz in 2004 at the age of nineteen. In an interview, Kasia said that two of her daughters were twins and that Abdelaziz cut contact with them as punishment because they wanted to live with her. Following Kasia's death, a close friend described her as a "good person" who strongly opposed drugs and alcohol.
