Retro-Bit has just recently released the Joe and Mac collection cartridges for the SNES and SNES clone systems. We're going to play through a few levels and share our thoughts on the experience.

In this video we spend some time with some of our favorite Cavemen Ninjas, Joe & Mac on the SNES, from the Joe & Mac: Ultimate Caveman Collection by Retro-bit.

Joe & Mac are back in their full 16-bit glory in the Ultimate Cavemen Collection compilation cartridge from Retro-bit. On this cart you get the original Joe & Mac, Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics and Congo’s Caper, a game I didn’t realize was even part of the Joe & Mac Universe.

From the get-go Joe & Mac looked, sounded and played as I had remembered from the ‘90s. This silly action-platformer has a great balance of silly, cartoony graphics and animation, awesome enemies and a great, if not repetitive, soundtrack. I managed to get quite far in the game in this video before I used up all my continues. Make sure you stay tuned to RoXolid Productions for our full review, coming soon.
