I love induction charging; I have since the first time I experienced it with my Palm Pre way back in 2009. It's clean and simple, I don't need to search for wires or worry about plugging something in the right direction, it simply works. Since HP killed off Palm and the Pre/Veer line of phones however I've transitioned to Android for my mobile devices. While some have offered wireless charging as an option it wasn't until recent years that manufacturers added wireless charging right into phones from the factory. Both Apple with the iPhone 8 and iPhone X & Samsung with the Galaxy S7, S8, S9 and Note 8 have equipped their phones with Qi wireless charging out of the box.

The CharJenPro Charging stand is very nice, you can place your phone in Landscape or Portrait modes while charging and it will work in either direction. The stand does not include a charger but a cable is included. It is important to note that only if you use a QC 3.0 certified power supply will you get fast charging features from this device. I didn't which is why it only charged at the standard rate. Live and learn!

On the back of the stand there are 2 ports, a Micro USB input for the power supply and a USB-A port for charging another device. This is one intuitive charger!

I tested the charger for quite some time on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and it worked great. Now I do have a hard plastic case I use most of the time and that moved the phone too far away from the induction coil, preventing it from charging. However if I used a thinner TPU case or no case at all it charged perfectly every time. It also charged my Tab S2 tablet using the secondary port.

Why it RoX:
- Induction wireless charging made simple
- Charges phone regardless of landscape or portrait orientation
- The second port for charging another device is a great added benefit
- The blue LED reflects down so it won't blind you in your sleep on a night stand
- Weighted properly so as to not tip over
- Works on Apple and Android devices
- Does not get warm like other induction chargers can
- Fast-Charge capable (with proper power supply)

What could be improved?
- It would be nice if a power supply were included
- The 4-foot cable is nice but 6 or 8 foot would be nicer
- I'd prefer USB-C for the power input
- Cannot charge through thicker cases (but no induction charger does)

Should you buy one?
If you have an induction charging capable-phone and aren't using an induction charger you are missing out. It is the easiest and most convenient way to charge your device. The CharJenPro Premium Wireless Charging Stand worked perfectly for me each and every time. A co-worker just bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 and with his case on it charged perfectly the moment we set it on the stand. I wish it would work with thicker cases but I can make do. I have other induction chargers from Nokia and Samsung but the CharJenPro charger has them beat for style, function & design.
