Who RoX the Box/eBay Trash or Treasure - Unboxing a Nintendo Virtual Boy 32-bit Video Game System

In this video, we once again roll the dice with an eBay purchase, this time with a Nintendo Virtual Boy.

I still remember checking out the Virtual Boy when it launched. I rented a version from my local Blockbuster Video. I remember getting it home, setting it up and getting absolutely immersed in the 3D world. Ok, we all know the Virtual Boy is a hot mess graphically and it died a quick death, but I have always wanted one and am thrilled to add one to my collection.

I found this listing on eBay and managed to get it for a very good price. Less than what it sold for new! The system came with one game, Mario Tetris, the AC Adapter which can itself be a hard and expensive find, and everything else it came from the box with. What was really exciting for me was that this system was being sold by its original owner.

To say I was amazed when I opened the box would be an understatement. This system was amazingly well packed and shipped to me, unlike the recent Sega CD/32X we featured on the channel. It was dusty and it has a little fading to it but in-all it was is amazing shape. I was thrilled to see the box for Mario Tetris was even included as I was not expecting it.

It took me a few minutes to put everything together and man, it didn't work. Not again! Then my girlfriend looked at the cartridge and pulled a little black piece off. Derp, I guess it has a connector protector on it. Ok, here we go and... PERFECT! This system works amazingly well, although I amazingly suck at Mario 3D Tennis. But here it is, in perfect working order and now added to my collection.
