In this video, we discuss the more than 10-new releases hitting the Nintendo Switch's eShop this week!

Welcome to the second episode of Switch It Up where we will be discussing each week's new releases in the Nintendo Switch eShop. Some weeks, like this, we'll be cram-packed full of new releases. Others will have just a few announcements. This show is mainly about the digital releases on the system, however, we will discuss key physical releases when appropriate.

5/15
Battle Chasers: Nightwar
The Adventures of Elena Temple
Wizard of Legend

5/17
Banner Saga 1
Fairune Collection
FRAMED Collection
Ice Cream Surfer
Invisiballs
Johnny Turbo's Arcade: Super Burger Time
White Night
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles

5/18
Splitter Critters
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition
Henry The Hamster Handler
Little Nightmares: Complete Edition

There's a lot of RPGs here, and while I'm not an RPG fan I do like the animation style of Wizard of Legend and Banner Saga 1. It's amazing to see hand-drawn animation work its way into video games as in Banner Saga 1 and as I mentioned I likethe card mechanics for how enemies appear on-screen.

The two winners for me though this week are Super Burgertime and Splitter Critters. Splitter Critters looks super fun, maybe a mix between Cut the Rope and World of Goo. I played both a lot and see a lot of similar gameplay mechanics here. Super Burgertime is just a classic and I am glad to see that, even without an official "Virtual Console" the Switch is seeing more than its fair share of classig title showing up on the platform.
