This came from my stating I had no interest in Tears of the Kingdom. I like Zelda games, just some a lot more than others.

The Legend of Zelda
This is where it all started for me and the series and it is still amazing over 30-years later! It confused many that the character you play as isn't Zelda, it's Link. But you try to rescue Zelda in this masterpiece.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
I will admit I still have my Switch version in the shrinkwrap, but I played this first on the Original Game Boy. I never had a Game Boy Color, but the Link's Awakening DX was a brillant update for the game. I've recently started playing this again now, and it's still great.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
For me, I didn't care for the N64 Zelda games. I didn't like the art style, it didn't like the look of Link, for me it just wasn't fun. I might dive into it again in the future, and I have a Japanese CIB copy too, but these were just not my cup of tea.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
The first game I got for my Wii, I loved Twilight Princess. It undid the Cellshading of Windwaker ( I was not a Celda fan) and gave Link a more mature look again. I know some hated the Waggle Controls and prefered the GameCube Version, I, however, loved the Wii version.

The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link
Nintendo's early sequels were very inconsistent. Some were great, and some were The Adventures of Link. The control style and look of the first game was replaced with a top-down traditional RPG world map and side-scrolling action scenes. As a non-RPG Fan, this was a shocking followup to the original, and something I still do not care for.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I've long talked about my dislike of BotW. To me it has more in common with Minecraft than other Zelda games. I don't care for the crafting aspect, the open world is TOO open world, the weapons breaking, just this is not for me. If you've ever seen Clerks 2 and what Randall says about Lord of the Rings...

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
This game, my goodness, THIS GAME is amazing! It is my favorite Zelda Games of all time, it has amazing gameplay, story, and music. I love the artwork, I love the depth, the puzzle solving, this is what Zelda games need more of!
