In this video, we unbox our June 2020 Video Games Monthly box featuring a Sealed Wii game, Gamecube, PS2, SNES, Genesis, & More Imports!

This is our fourth month being subscribed to Video Games Monthly, there have been some highs, there have been some lows, and there have been some really unique surprises with this subscription service. In May, I wound up with two factory sealed PlayStation 2 games, something I never expected. I also wound up with some pretty cool collectibles between the first few boxes that I have received. As such, I was very excited for my June box to arrive.

Upon opening the box, which arrived around July 8th, I was very surprised and pleased to see the selection of games that were in the box. If you have followed me on the channel for any period of time, you know that I am a fan of import games. Be it Famicom, Super Famicom, or N64, I really enjoy getting NTSC-J or PAL import games. And I got just that in this box.

What we got:
Japanese N64: Ganbare Goemon: Neo Momoyama Bakufu no Odori - $19
SNES: NBA Jam - $11
Genesis: DeCap Attack - $12
Gamecube: Hot Wheels World Race - $11
PS2: Final Fantasy X (Greatest Hits) - $6
Wii: Guilty Party - $12
Total Value = $71

The fact that Video Games Monthly includes an option to import games is really awesome. One of the reasons why I am subscribed to the service is I desperately want a copy of Super Back to the Future 2 for the Super Famicom. I am hoping to eventually get it. I have played some of the Goemon/Legend of the Mystical Ninja games in the past and they have always been fun, and I am hoping for more of the same from this Import title. DeCap Attack, well, I finally realized where I had seen or heard of it before. Mike & James from Cinemassacre had plays it at one point. NBA Jam on the SNES is a classic, and I am excited to get Wii & Gamecube games in this lot too.

Now, about Final Fantasy X. Sigh....One thing I would like to see them add is an option to the website is the option to include or exclude specific genres of games that you would be interested in. For example, I have no desire to get a single RPG, ever. If I could select that as an option, it would help them put games in the hands of people who would enjoy them more. But overall, a good monthly box and I cannot wait for August!
