From our family to yours, we wish you a truly Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving

2020 has certainly been a year of challenges. From the pandemic, economic uncertainty, people losing their jobs, people losing their lives, 2020 has definitely been one for the ages. As such, many may find it hard to be thankful at this time of year, however, we wanted to take a few minutes to share a few things we are thankful for.

Family:
During uncertain times, having a strong family can help get you through many situations. I am lucky and blessed that I have such a thing, starting with my amazing wife, two terrific daughters, an amazingly strong step-mother, and in-laws that I can tolerate, sometimes. Once in awhile? All right, they're okay. My family has been a source of strength and resiliency in 2020, and I hope yours has been for you as well.

Friends:
I will admit, I don't have the largest circle of friends. I'm actually a pretty private person. But the few that I do have within my inner circle have been tremendous this year. We don't call them "bro checks" but basically we check up on each other on the regular, help each other out, make each other laugh, call each other dumb, and generally try to be the best part of each other's lives. Wheather in the Retro Gaming community with guys like Gabbo and Riff from the @Pixel Game Squad (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRwh3TVQszgmDK6UHzHNdQQ)and John Riggs (https://www.youtube.com/user/riggstalgic), to my extended RC family I still keep in contact with, I've got some great people in my life.

I also am thrilled for the successes friends of mine are having. Riggs is nearing 100K subscribers, Pixel Game Squad is nearing 40K, but Adam & Katie from 1Up Card might be having the best year out of all of us. They will be featured on the December 4th, 2020 episode of Shark Tank with the Katamco Toilet Timer! Make sure you get the popcorn ready to see if this is something the Sharks bite on!

The Channel:
I cannot express my gratitude and thanks enough for the amazing people that have helped grow this channel. We hit 10,000 subscribers last July! For a while, I never thought it would happen. But we continue to grow, continue to get new subscribers, and continue to entertain. Well, hopefully entertain. We've also added and expanded partnerships to be able to bring you more and better content on the channel, and I hope that's something that you've seen and noticed. If there's something that you like and want to see more of, let me know. If there's something that you don't see and you want to see, also let me know. If there's something you see and you don't like, let me know as well.

As the year wines to a close, I asked you to take a moment to reflect on the positives in your life this year. Let's be honest, it has not been the greatest of years, but there are still things to be thankful for. Babies were born, people got married, and life, as it was, went on.

I want to share a verse that fellow YouTuber Life with Matthew (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCA3eZ4K6hHdbd1jPhjuJZmw) closes all of his videos out with, as I think it is extremely appropriate given the day and the circumstances:

May the Lord bless you & keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you & be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you & give you peace. Amen.
