An Open Letter to Ministers in the Message

A fellow research has sent us a copy of an open letter recently sent to “Fellow Ministers and Believers in William Branham’s Message”. The open letter appears to be an appeal to believers of William Branham’s “Message”, pleading them to examine the failure of Branham’s Africa-India Prophecy of 1952. It is the only prophecy of Branham’s that failed in which Branham himself admitted the failure.

We were not involved with the printing of the newsletter, and it comes as quite a surprise to us as it is sent to “fellow” ministers and believers — suggesting that the newsletter is, in fact, sent by a minister in Branham’s cult of personality. Reading it, however, it looks as though the minister who wrote the letter did a very thorough job in examining Branham’s failed prophecy, and used the cult’s own search engine, “The Table” to examine Branham’s statements concerning the failed prophecy.

Quote:
And when…I had been very much constrained to go to—to India. And yet, as many of you might know, the Indian trip wasn’t the success that it should’ve been, because I failed to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit
- Branham, William. 1957, Jan 26. India Trip Report (57-0126B)

Quote:
Mark my Word, write It in your pages of your Bible, for It’s THUS SAITH THE LORD, “Remember, when we land in India, you’re going to hear of tens of thousands times thousands being saved.” The Holy Spirit has said It. I’ve wrote It here in my Bible. It’s wrote in tens of thousands of Bibles right here
- Branham, WIlliam. 1954, May 15. Questions And Answers (54-0515)

If you are interested in reading the open letter, we have scanned a copy of it and added it to the publications section of the India Prophecy page linked in the description. You can read this and more on william-branham.org
