Elon Musk SpaceX Starlink Global Protector Of Free Speech?

Elon Musk's SpaceX Starlink has become a global protector of free speech. As of last week, Iran has been yet another country where Elon Musk's SpaceX Starlink has helped its people be heard.

Elon Musk said he would activate his Starlink satellite internet service in Iran in response to news that the U.S. Treasury would grant special permission for companies to provide internet services to the country.

Iran’s protests began on September 16th after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini who was in police custody, arrested by the country’s “morality police” for violating rules on dress code. Amini’s death sparked widespread demonstrations!

The Iranian government has tightened the noose on its people's internet usage blocking access to services like Instagram, WhatsApp, and Skype while Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok were already blocked.
