The film tells the story of Juan Chasquisdo, a former outlaw who is released from prison and seeks to leave his criminal past behind. However, he soon finds himself caught in the middle of a conflict between a powerful landowner named Winchester and a group of Mexican revolutionaries.

Father Pat Jordan, a priest who is sympathetic to the revolutionaries' cause, also becomes involved in the conflict and tries to help Juan navigate the dangerous situation. Along the way, they encounter various other characters, including a beautiful Mexican woman named Christina and a ruthless bandit leader named Chetam.

The film features the classic themes of revenge and redemption that are common in the Western genre, as well as plenty of action-packed gunfights and horseback chases.
