65 million years ago, the Earth was shaken by a cataclysm. A giant asteroid impact that wiped out non-bird dinosaurs and many other species. But out of this devastation emerged a new world shaped by survivors of the apocalypse.After the extinction, mammals and other small creatures that had been overshadowed by the dinosaurs began to thrive and diversify, eventually becoming what we are today. It is connected to the incredible variety of life forms we see on Earth.

This new world was filled with strange and wonderful creatures, from giant birds and carnivorous marsupials to saber-toothed cats and giant ground sloths. In the ocean, ancient reptiles such as ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs have been replaced by new and formidable predators like the fearsome megalodon shark. The landscape of the world also changed, with vast grasslands and forests spreading across the continents, providing new habitats for a wide variety of species.
