Journalist and storm chaser Jonathan Petramala talks about his documentary film 'Price of Paradise: Surviving Hurricane Ian,' which chronicles the destruction and stories of survival in Southwest Florida after the category 4 storm blasted the coastline in late Sept. 2022. Petramala talks about chasing Hurricane Ian along with his producing partner, Brandon Clement, in western Cuba where the storm made its first landfall as well as in South Carolina, where it made its final landfall. The movie, produced by Petramala, Clement and Andy Coates, contains sensation footage of Ian's powerful winds and storm surge as well as images of the aftermath of the hurricane, Florida's deadliest since 1935. Petramala also talks about his life as a reporter and storm chaser, whether he is ever scared going into the eyes of some of recent history's most notorious hurricanes and living in Southwest Florida after growing up on a ranch in eastern Colorado.
