The first two seasons of the Disney Plus flagship series The Mandalorian were both well received and highly rated by fans and critics alike. The third season was full of promise and excitement as the story appeared to be centered around the retaking of Mandalore and the uniting of the major clans. However, the third season is not only badly received from the outset, it has also lost half of its Episode 1 viewers. What could the reason be?

Bad writing and poor planning.
